Pricing

Metered by renders per month, with a burst rate limit to keep the service responsive for everyone.

These numbers are a working assumption, not a decision.

Prices and limits should be set from real render-cost economics before launch. This page exists so the flow can be built and reviewed.

Questions

What counts as a render?
One label produced. A ZPL stream holding five labels rendered to a five-page PDF counts as five.
What happens when I hit the limit?
Free stops at the monthly allowance and the API answers 429 until the next period. Paid plans keep working and bill the overage. Every response carries X-Quota-Remaining, so you can see it coming.
What is the burst rate for?
It paces requests per second so one client cannot crowd out others. It is separate from the monthly allowance: you can be well inside your monthly quota and still be paced if you fire everything at once.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes, from the billing portal. The plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for, then drops to Free.
What happens to the ZPL I send?
It is rendered and returned. It is not stored beyond the request/response cycle. Labels routinely carry names and addresses, so we would rather not hold them at all.
Do you support every ZPL command?
No, and the docs say exactly which. Anything unsupported is skipped with a warning rather than failing the render. MaxiCode is the notable gap for UPS labels.
